Taking SMC forward- The Alumni Association
A key element of life at SMC has been connection, with the campus, the faculty, and with each other. Some dedicated graduates from early batches of SMC were determined to provide an opportunity to all SMCians to continue enjoying that same sense of connection even after they graduated and continued their journey of excellence beyond the walls of SMC. This fervor brought into existence the SMC Alumni Association.
At the SMC Alumni Association, we endeavor to recreate that culture of friendship, support and belonging to the Alma Mater that every SMCian is so familiar with, having spent some of the best years of their lives at SMC. We achieve this goal by first connecting with the Alumni across the world, serve them through our diverse variety of services and in return, engage them in activities that directly or indirectly help SMC grow. Thus we satisfy the shared desire that all SMCians hold within their hearts_ the desire to move SMC forward.
It is our desire that every single SMC graduate, in whatever way and at whatever scale possible, reconnects with SMC and helps us gather support and goodwill for the institution. We continuously identify areas where SMC needs to be helped, and are determined to make progress possible in the face of the worst of odds. For this to happen, we need not only those who wish us well for our efforts, but also devoted and sincere people from across the world who, just like us, hold a passion for SMC and are willing to come forward and extend substantial support.
